I took the quiz and got an A too. In school, I always used to hate the literature portion of English classes, but I always loved the grammar portion.
I wish the quiz were more extensive. I think it only tested the rules about its/it's and there/their/they're, and those are easy.
As a programmer, one of the grammatical mistakes that bugged me the most whenever I heard it, like nails on a chalkboard, was, "I've ran the program." It's not "I've ran..." It's "I've run..." Run, Running, Ran, Have Run (One day, I looked it up in my college grammar manual and confirmed I was right.)
I think one grammar rule that ought to just get changed because no one in the universe follows it is the difference between "raise" and "rear." You raise livestock, but you *rear* children. Who says, "I rear my children...?"
Also, in certain cases, it just looks plain weird to put a comma or period *before* an ending quotation mark used on single words or short phrases (see an example above -- "rear."), but it's actually correct. Sometimes I break that rule on purpose.
And, then there's always, "...a whole 'nother..." instead of "...another whole..." I should really stop now. Grammar, though, neat topic. ;)

Well I have to say that I am NOT a nerd And I hate grammer and anything to do with writing I can not spell and I love run on sentences BUT I MADE AN A!!!!!
