Well, it's been a quiet week in House Antsbegone, my home. The Quigleys have kept to themselves, readying for Tuesday. Tuesday will bring upheaval to the household, with Jake starting first grade, Ike starting jury duty, Becky starting back to the gym (no, really!), and Annie starting...well, Annie starting back to the gym nursery.

The family didn't leave the house much, didn't answer the phone. They took long naps, they occasionally washed a dish or two. They used multiple coupons, stopping in at Food Lion almost everyday.

Annie faced her childhood fears...and ran from them.


Jake practiced martial arts.


Jake cleaned up the house and did laundry.


Annie messed up the house and started reading.



Ike wrote (on) a book.


Becky chastised Ike for writing (on) a book and making fun of his wife all at once (not pictured).

And all was right with the world.

That's the news from House Antsbegone, where all the mamas are strong, the daddies are good-looking, and the children...are above average.
