We Party

Yesterday we celebrated Annie's second birthday. The nice thing about having a two-year-old is that if you tell her it's her birthday, she accepts that and joins in. She doesn't have to know that her birthday is inconveniently located on the Thursday a few days before Christmas...it was yesterday. We've got the living room full of toys to prove it.

I have a collage of pictures from yesterday, and I'm hoping I might get more soon from my dad...Too bad you can't capture a child yelling, "NOOO! MINE!!!" at a friend as she grabs a toy from her and throws it across the room... Did I mention that Annie is two?



This second picture is from a few weeks' ago at Naomi's birthday party (Naomi is Annie's friend who was pretty patient yesterday when Annie grabbed that present and threw it across the room...). It captures the horror the boys felt at knowing they'd have to eat a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake... :)
