While Ike and I spent all of yesterday watching 48 Hour Film Project premieres (soon Ike's film will be online, I'll post the link when that happens), Jake and Annie spent the day with their friends Brooks and Lucy. Jake is still there, having begged to spend the night (or rather, insisted on it), and apparently he's suggested to Nancy (the mother of Brooks and Lucy) that he live there forever...only coming to visit Ike and me from time to time. He didn't mention visiting Annie...
While they were at their friends' house, they went swimming in their pool. Nancy told me she made sure Annie couldn't drown (Nancy was also right there watching the whole time, Dad, don't worry), but WOW. I had no idea how safe Annie was until I saw this picture:
Notice: Annie is ON a float, IN a float and has TWO arm floats. Now THAT'S caution. Thanks, Nancy!
