This will show my NC ignorance - but where is Davie County?
Mocksville is in Davie County. It's northwest of Winston-Salem. :)
Let me know when it is and maybe we can make a day out of it. The Mocksville Frontier Family Festival sounds like fun. ;) After all, I'm born of Pioneer stock too. :) - Um, well, midwest pioneer stock anyway...a few generations back...well, I don't know that I could wrangle cattle or anything...
Anyhoo - I can pretend. :)
A very polite friend just emailed me to say that Davie County is SOUTHwest of Winston. She didn't want to embarrass me, but I'll do it. :)
