Annie's Cough

I took Annie to the doctor this morning because she's had a yucky cough since Sunday. Fortunately it is not croup (or pneumonia, or any of the other terrible things I convinced myself it was throughout the night). It's just a cold. He said to use saline nose drops (which absolutely offended her when I used them...how dare I stick something in her nose??) and her humidifier, and she should get better in a week or two. Two weeks?? Poor kid...

Dr. Sumner was amazed at her weight gain. Since her 2-month visit just over two weeks ago, she has gained one whole pound! She's now 12 lbs, 3 ozs. No wonder the size 1 diapers are suddenly too snug...
