Wait, this is what I'm dreaming about??
On his way out the door to a meeting this afternoon, Ike said to me, "Rebates? Car seats? Booster seats? You told me to remind you."

Having just gone to Food Lion and bought...

18 packs of Handi-Snack crackers/cookies/etc. (FREE)
9 boxes of Capri-Suns
9 packs of Handi-Snack puddings (FREE)
2 tubs of lunch meat
2 boxes of Teddy Grahams

...all on sale with coupons for less than $15...

...I thought maybe he was reminding me to send off some sort of rebate for our kids' car seats. Then I remembered: oh, my dream.

See, last night I woke up from a twisted nightmare in which I was continually switching booster seats from my car to a friend's and back again, all while we discussed these great rebate forms she'd found at Food Lion. One might ask, "Gee whiz, Becky, why would that be a nightmare?"

Well, really, no, that's not a nightmare. Until you think about the fact that it's my everyday life. And aren't we supposed to dream about cool things that don't happen to us? Like being able to fly or walking through walls or sleeping in on Saturdays?

But no. I'm dreaming about booster seats and rebate checks. Perhaps tonight I can dream about Barney videos and Transformers...

Ah, the dreams of a mother. Sad, isn't it? If it makes you feel better, I dreamed the other night that we kept having kids and I ended up with a classroom full of 3rd graders at home. Why were they all already in 3rd grade? I have no clue. But apparently this whole homeschooling thing would scary as hell if we had 20 kids! LOL

Dreams are crazy! I dreamed the other night about these people in my yard trying to shoot down an owl out of my tree and I got mad and said I was calling the police because it was against the law to kill owls. Then the took it down out of the tree and it was as big as a car! HUGE OWL and they ran off with it. LOL
Just thought I would share! I love dreams!
