This afternoon Jake's playgroup (which is as much mine as his, since I love the moms in it...and I'm not just saying that because some of them read this...) is having a surprise birthday party for him at my house. I'm getting so excited! The cupcakes are in the oven and the toy is on hold for Tracy to pick up at Toys R Us. Life was so easy before Jake got into specific toys. Now it must be THIS Transformer of THIS size with THIS mini-con, or whatever.
At any rate, I'm hoping some of my playgroup friends will bring their fancy digital cameras (ahem!), so I can post pictures after the party.
Time to clean the house...
Ah, and those of you who are more pirate than ninja will appreciate this: Jake is in PIRATE CAMP this week. Very cool, he's very excited. Those of you who prefer ninjas might like this website that Caitlin (my incredible sister) showed me over the weekend. Click on the review of "Pirates of The Carribean." Funny funny waste of time.

Tis hard to buy fer dat age I 'spect.
I am glad I was able to get the right Transformer!! I have never been under so much pressure to buy a toy before. I was actually nervous walking into Toys R Us!! I just knew they were going to have the wrong one on hold, then I was going to have to go into Panic Mode!! But it all worked out and we had a great time.
Reading it aloud, I think "Dread Pirate Wood's" accent started drifting over toward Uncle Remus.
