Tonight while I tried to explain to Jake why he can't have a pet pterodactyl, he interrupted with his own explanation.
"I know...old people used to be monkeys... with the dinosaurs."

lol! The real question is What does he think is old? I mean where we the monkeys or are the grandparents and the like the monkeys?
Hehehe - glad to see he has his evoluationary timeline in order.
I guess he could have said old "30-year-old bald guys" ARE monkeys and lived with the dinosaurs. :)
When Russ & I were over, Jake told us that he knew everything. (In a very "I know everything" kind of voice.) I'm looking forward to lots of Jake stories where he winds his stories up to "prove" that he knows everything. Nothing like the theories of almost 5 year olds.

By the way - so much for my education - I keep wanting to read "pterodactyl" as "pah-terodactyl".
You say "pah-terodactyl" we say "ter-o-dactil".
