And so the funny things Annie will say begin...
This morning I was awakened to Annie yelling again and again,
"BABY!!!! BABY!!! BABY!!!!"
(It sounds like: "bebe! bebe! bebe!" Must be her French ancestry peeking through...)
When I went into her room, there was a baby doll right in front of her crib and she was reaching for me. I picked her up, and she didn't seem interested in the doll anymore.

- Yelling, "Mommy!! I want to play with my baby!!!"
- Yelling, "I'm the BABY!!! Come get the BABY!!!"

Hmmmm, I think it was "I'm the baby. Come get the baby."
How sweet! I can't wait to see her. Oh, and you too of course, lol.
I think it was, "Mommy!! I want to play with my baby!!!"
And then, "Oh, hi Mommy. Baby...was I talking about a baby? Baby, what baby. I'm a baby. I love you Mommy."
I was kind of thinking that the conversation started with her demanding that her baby doll come to her.
Then you showed up and mommies are better than dolls.
You win!
Or, maybe she was attempting to sing a 1950's doo-wop song that started off with the words, "Baby! Baby! Baby!" but she couldn't remember the rest of the lyrics, and needed you to help her out with that.
Or maybe not.
Or maybe it was a song but was an R&B song from the 1970's that started off "Baby! Baby! Baby!"
Or maybe not that either.
(These ideas sounded more amusing in my head.)
I think she was trying to say, "Hey.. that baby has freedom!! Why don't I??"
