A few minutes ago, Annie ran into the living room, clapping and saying, "Side! Side! Side!"
Assuming she meant, "outside," I said, "No, Annie, we aren't going outside right now."
She gave me her best, "Mom-Is-An-Idiot" look and repeated, "Side! Side! Side!" She clapped again and stared at me.
"Show me," I said and she ran to her room giggling. I followed her in and found her creation: Annie turned an empty diaper box onto its side and was using it as a slide.
She jumped on and slid down (which took all of two seconds), then stood up, clapped and said, "Side! Side! Side!"
I think we need some indoor play equipment around here...
