While Jake's bath water was running tonight, I did a little laundry and checked my email. Annie was already in bed, Jake was playing in his room.
With tape.
When I turned off his water and went to get him, tape stretched across his room. From closet to desk. That's maybe six feet of tape.
Jake is so proud. "I didn't know tape could do that, Mommy!"
Tomorrow I think I'll introduce him to toilet paper. Let him see what that can do in a room...

Jake's aunt Caitlin used to play with tape as well. It got to the point that I had to keep a secret stash of Scotch (tape, thank you) hidden in my briefcase so I'd have some when I needed it. Otherwise, tape was everywhere. She even sculpted with it. Artists!
